tome - everything matters

As mentioned many times at Beggars Table, Tome is a powerful and meaningful ancient Hebrew word found many times in the Old Testament (predominantly in the Psalms). It captures much of what we mean when we talk about a “seamless” faith. The word describes the wholeness of the human condition – the overall integrity of life as God created and intended.

Rather than some areas of life being “secular”, Tome boldly declares that God is not fragmented into compartments...all of life is His. Everything Matters!

Our Tome series is a subtle way of expressing our belief in Tome – everything matters. We are asking a wide variety of people (some Christians – some not) to present on a wide variety of topics. The underlying understanding is that it’s all important, interesting, and worth investing at the very least, a handful of minutes in.
